Major Apple Scab Infections 2-5 May With Predicted Rain Events Ahead (Plus Fire Blight Infections Where Flowers Still Opened)

Major scab and, as reported yesterday, fire blight infections are predicted to occur with rains 1-5 May. Whichever is the case, I would recommend applying a strong fungicide mix (contact plus a systemic) with streptomycin for any blocks in bloom. If you have no flowers in the block anymore, you can use only fungicides. I would spray fungicides before the rains of rains 2-5 May. Use NEWA scab model https://newa.cornell.edu/apple-scab and fire blight model https://newa.cornell.edu/fire-blight to look at the change in model predictions as the weather forecast gets more accurate closer to the 2 – 5 May:
